What moneywise can offer you 

Moneywise Plus primarily aims to address financial and digital inclusion and provides 1 -2-1 holistic, client focussed and needs based support to help individuals overcome a range of barriers and move closer to the labour market. 
 
We provide tailored, practical support to negotiate the daily challenges we all face, whether its accessing and managing on Universal credit; makings savings by switching utilities; personal budgeting; setting up and using an email account; job searching online etc. 
The project is led by Reaching People and delivered through a partnership of 6 organisations across Leicester city and Leicestershire county with their own areas of expertise:

Common but not exhaustive examples of the work we do with participants: 

Financial Support 

Budgeting, making savings, getting better deals, understanding and coping with financial changes, obtaining affordable credit etc. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Digital 

Basic device use (keyboard and mouse, touchscreen); accessing information and services online; setting up and using online accounts; use of apps, online safety, ways to shop online etc. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Employability 

Creating and modifying CVs, applying for jobs online; finding the right education or training, confidence building etc. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Eligibility to Project To receive support from Moneywise Plus, you must: 

Have the right to live and work in the UK 
Be unwaged. 

Proof of eligibility 

Ideally, you will have 1 form of evidence to show that you live and can work in the UK. 
 
Please see below some examples: 
 
Current Passport 
Birth or Adoption Certificate 
Biometric Residence Permit 
A holder of settled or pre-settled status granted under the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS) 
You may also be required to provide evidence to confirm you are not working: 
 
Current Benefit documents 
A letter or document from the Department for Work and Pensions or Job Centre Plus confirming you are registered as unemployed 
A letter or document to support this, such as a doctors letter, entitlement to state retirement pension letter or correspondence from an educational establishment if you are a full time student 
Third Party Referral
