Reaching People brings together frontline delivery partners from the Voluntary and Community Sector in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Working together, we develop and provide high quality contract delivery, business and funding opportunities in fields that include health and well-being, homelessness, advice and guidance, education and training, and community services. 
 
Reaching People aims to facilitate the joint delivery by its members of contract, business, and funding opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your professional experience with a friendly charity based in the heart Leicester City. We are looking for a creative individual who can bring their enthusiasm and passion for media to the role to promote the activities of the charity. 
 
Main Purpose of the role: 
The purpose of the role is to promote the work of the charity through media platforms such as social media, websites, and newsletters to help deliver our key message and showcase the achievements of the charity to the public. 
 
Key tasks and Responsibilities: 
Researching, sourcing, and writing engaging content for social media, website, and newsletter 
Liaise with team and gather information for content 
Post content on social media 
Manage social media account on day-to-day basis 
Contribute ideas to improve communication strategy and implementation 
Assist in collating data and analysis of social media performance 
Assist in developing content for campaigns such as national awareness day 
Criteria 
Essential 
Experience in using social media platforms 
Strong writing - Skills and ability to write for different audiences/media 
Creative 
Ability to work with minimal supervision 
Friendly and Approachable 
Professional 
Enthusiastic and self-motivated 
Good administration and organisational skills 
Team Player 
Desirable 
Experience of developing and running social media campaigns 
 
Training 
Core training in equality, confidentiality, data protection and team work will be provided. 
 
There is potential for on-going employment for the post holder if we are successful in securing funding in the coming 6 months and they are successful in their initial work and training.

Rate of pay - £20,000 per year 
Contract – 16 months

Moneywise Plus is a project funded through the European Social Fund and the National Lottery and managed by the Reaching People consortium. As a member of a team of advisers form different organisations, you will provide information, advice and guidance to people who are unemployed and wishing to move into paid employment, education or training. You will support them to acquire the financial, digital and employability skills and confidence thy need to move closer to the labour market. Experience of advice and guidance work and/or of teaching or mentoring adults would be an advantage.
